You have the option to use our efficient, no hassle online process or opt for a personalized 1on1 call with a business development specialist.
For single-location offices, we offer flexible agreements without long-term commitments, coupled with clear, straightforward pricing. Select the package that meets your office’s needs and we can be live answering calls within a week or sooner.
At Unique Dental Scheduling, we offer a customizable approach to your office’s needs. Our inbound phone support is available in three service levels, each tailored to your office’s specific preferences. The Plus Package, our most popular option, includes comprehensive call handling and scheduling by our expert dental team for the most common call types – new patients, plus current patient hygiene and emergencies.
For the phone set-up, most offices choose a rollover scope where calls first ring the office and then would rollover to Unique after 3 or 4 rings… instead of going to voicemail. Other offices choose only to send calls when they are closed.
Phone Forwarding Overview
With standard hours ranging from early in the morning until late in the evening on weekdays and Saturday hours available, our team is here well after most offices close covering all crucial scheduling times.
Additional services offered includes outbound call campaigns, live webchat, and web lead conversion system as desired.
Once the agreement is in place and the scope confirmed, the onboarding process is a breeze. It’s a two-step path to seamless scheduling. First, we connect to your schedule (for Plus and Pro packages) via a dedicated computer at your office using ScreenConnect, a quick and easy-to-install remote connection software. Once installed, you provide us with login credentials to your computer and practice management system.
Next, you’ll fill out an online form to create your office’s scheduling guidance profile. This form, crafted by dental industry experts, gathers all the necessary details like provider information, insurance profiles, new patient specials, and scheduling preferences. Once we have your information and the form is completed, our Implementation team reviews everything, addresses any nuances, and loads the details into our proprietary Playbook software.
Our commitment extends beyond the initial setup. Our Client Success Team is available to assist you via phone, email, or text during business hours. And our client portal features HIPAA compliant messages letting you know each time an appointment is scheduled, or follow-up action is needed and optional call recordings in real time.
We provide tools for effortless feedback and communication, with each message or call featuring a feedback icon for quick interactions. This feedback directly contributes to agent coaching or updates in our Playbook.
Moreover, all calls are categorized based on caller type and resolution, allowing us to provide real-time reporting in the call portal and detailed monthly summaries for full transparency and insight.

How long is the agreement? What is your cancellation Policy?
How long does it take to get started?
We can be live in as little as a day for the Standard Package and 3 days for the Plus Package and Pro Packages.
We start with the office answering an online survey to outline your policies and procedures for Unique. At the same time, the remote connection is added so Unique can gain access to your schedule.
From there, the Unique Customer Success team reviews the information and works to fill in any gaps with the office. Unique then builds out our internal policy browsers and works to make sure our answering team is ready for the go-live date.
At go-live, UDS will provide the office with a forwarding number to begin the service or work directly with your phone system as requested.
Is every call considered Billable?
We only charge for live-answer calls where our agents have a conversation with a caller. Non-billable calls include automated messages, calls with bad connections, wrong numbers, and calls under 30 seconds.
What are your hours?
We are available when patients are most likely to call!
- 7am until 10pm (ET) Monday – Friday
- 8am until 8pm (ET) Saturday
Does the service work with every phone system?
We’ve never met a phone system we couldn’t work with! Some systems do come with various limitations on the forwarding rules that can be setup. Our staff will work to explain the options available to your practice.
Do I have access to hear the phone calls?
Yes, all calls and recorded and available to our offices via our HIPAA compliant portal at any time – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as outlined by the package chosen. Calls are available on-demand and do not need to be requested manually.
Do we get updates daily to our email of every call that was taken, or do we have to go check on the portal to see what calls have been taken?
We do send email in real time for every call that has a message attached. We send messages anytime there is a change to the schedule or when there is follow-up required. If for some reason, you didn’t want it this way, we can suppress messages – the service is customized to fit your individual needs with respect to messages and updates.
